Chewbear

The short version.

Chewbear is 16, from King's Lynn. He taught himself to produce — on Ableton, in his bedroom — and he taught himself to mix on vinyl, which almost nobody his age still does.

The sound is long-form progressive house: big breakdowns, records that take their time. Sasha, Digweed, Nick Warren — that world. He's already putting his own tracks out, and there's more coming.
